Primarily self-taught photographer Zach Mahone started taking pictures in 2004 when a gorgeous sunset sparked his interest for the Art. Since then he has made a name for himself within the music industry by shooting live concerts and festivals. Currently he is the house photographer to the Vilar Perfoming Arts Center . His work has been published in numerous music publications including Jambase, Hittin the Note, Honest Tune, Movement Magazine, and several others. Outside of music Zach has also enjoyed many freelance assignments. From 2005-2007 he was frequently published in the Daytona-Beach News Journal, Leader Magazine, Avion Newspaper, and the Marketing Department of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. In 2008 he started freelancing for the New York Times. Currently Zach resides in Vail Colorado and spends his winters snowboarding and his summers biking, rafting, fishing, and climbing.
